ABOUT FREEDOM SUMMER

The mini-activation under State of the Young Black Advocate pays homage to the Freedom Summer Project of 1964 and aims to continue its legacy by organizing Black youth and young adults 18-30 to get registered to vote and also register and prepare our peers and community members to vote ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
